Privacy Policy

Updated 2026-06-03

This page explains what data Quiet Pages does and does not handle. The site is a static publication; it has no user accounts, no database, and no server-side processing of personal information.

Information we do not collect

Quiet Pages does not ask you to register, does not run advertising trackers, and does not store personal information on a server. The contact form on the home page is simulated entirely within your browser and does not transmit its contents anywhere.

Browser storage

If you respond to the cookie notice on the home page, a single value recording your choice (accepted or rejected) is saved in your browser's local storage. This value stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and is used only to avoid showing the notice again. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.

External images

Article and page images are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser requests an image, that request reaches Wikimedia's servers, which may log standard technical details such as your IP address as part of normal web traffic. Quiet Pages does not control or receive those logs. Wikimedia's own practices are described in its public privacy documentation.

Fonts

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. As with any externally hosted resource, requesting these files involves a connection to the provider's servers. No additional information is sent by Quiet Pages.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.

Disclaimer: the articles on Quiet Pages are informational and describe the authors' own tested practice. They are not professional advice. Always follow the safety instructions supplied with any tools or materials you use.
